Wonderful Evening

Just back from a wonderful evening at Fort Baker, a remodeled army compound that looks out directly through the towers of the Golden Gate Bridge to the twinkling lights of San Francisco from its green lawns. We were there to perform as part of Turning the Tide, an environmental conference sponsored by the Institute of the Golden Gate. We made a new quartet, site-specific to the room in which we performed.  It was a pleasure and the Institure took great care of us. After, Todd (my husband) and I went out to view a lovely tall wall that reaches water to high steel at the North end of the bridge.....with the city sparkling behind.... to imagine another dance.
