Performing for Artists' Housing

Last weekend members of the company performed for the ceremonial opening of the WAV, a subsidized artist housing project in Ventura, CA. The project, initiated by developer Chris Valasquez seeks to make affordable housing and community available to artists. The company performed "Shift" and "Inverted Duet" and were warmly received by the local community. In 2000, the company performed for another of Chris' projects in Reno Nevada that too was an artists housing project. UP next, the re-opening of the Oakland Museum, May 1st.
