How To Book Us

Project Bandaloop performs in a wide variety of contexts. The work is presented in theaters, on buildings, in atriums, warehouses, convention halls and in nature on cliffs.

The company: six dancers and two - three technical support and rigging staff, has been performing since 1991 and touring since 1995. To book the company on a building or structure, a site visit is required to assess the artistic and technical options and issues of the space. For theaters, technical requirements vary depending on the repertoire. In the 2012-13 season, the company will be touring "Bound(less)", an evening-length new work, and selected repertoire.

We will give you the appropriate technical and artistic information including technical riders, directions for presenting on buildings, insurance and contracts. Project Bandaloop's fee scale is dependent on many factors including technical requirements and the nature of the event.

Opera House Via Ferrata

A Via ferrata is a mountain route fixed with cables,allowing a person access to amazing places that would otherwise be unsafe. Yesterday, Thomas and I were allowed access to a "via ferrata" on the roof of the San Francisco Opera House. We climbed up several ladders, some quite tall getting all the way on top of the fly loft to check the rigging potential. Looking out over the city and the gilded roof of city hall sparkling in the unseasonably bright sun, we both acknowledged that we have a wonderful job. Stay tuned to see if this potential plays out in the form of site-reactive performance in the next few months!
