Off to Mussoorie India

We are off to India today! All packed and very excited about the creativity, culture and adventrue ahead in the next few weeks. We will try to upload from the foothills of the Himalaya after our performance at Woodstock School and then again after our film project in the mountains.
Grant and New Delhi India

We are literally gearing up for our trip to the mountains and plains of North India which is coming right up at the end of the month. (If you happen to be a sleeping bag maker and reading this, we are looking for a sponsor for 12 zero degree bags. . . . .) We will be making a short film of our adventures in the mountains within a day of Uttarkashi in the central Garhwal.
Preparing for India

We are back in California after an artistically satisfying though somewhat weather-challenged run at Mass MoCa. We are planning our travel to India for our first-ever performances there. Our first stop is Woodstock School, in Mussoorie at 7,000 in the foothills of the Himalaya, Amelia Rudolph's high school alma mater. Performances near Hyderebad and Delhi are in the works.
Himalaya here we come. . .

After our performance at Woodstock School in Mussoorie, Uttarakhand, India, we are now dreaming up a high altitude adventure into the central Garwhal to Shivling above Gangotri or to Yamnotri to create work on high altitude granite. With all the dancers on hand and the opportunity in front of us, we are reveling in the possibilities.
Ready for Mass MoCa

We are all resting before we open the show at 3 pm here at Mass MoCa. We were teasing out final details even this morning. I am looking forward to it. Looks like we are almost sold out for opening show, so, any ideas of first show as a formal "dress" are out the window. The company in looking good and working really hard.
