Flash Mob-good, and Come on down to our party!

Well, our "flash-mob" performance on the McRoskey mattress factory yesterday was FUN despite the fact that I discovered that ALL the gear was stolen from my car that morning at 7:30-ART still prevailed. Thanks to all those who contributed. Next Week

Thank goodness for dancing to stay warm. I am looking forward to next week when we will make dance free and public on Market Street at lunch on Tuesday. Giving away dance during the holidays seems like the thing to do. Lets hope this arctic weather eases up a bit or we will have to dance in down coats which is never very flattering.
I've been watching footage of last year's Eastern Sierra Workshop while helping to edit it and am totally inspired by the students, the place and the spirit of it all.
End of Year Party - December 19th

I am still experiences some jet lag, nine days after coming home from a month in India and blame it on my soul having trouble catching up with my body. This trip was a magical, challenging, enriching life experience that none of us will forget. In case you missed it, a slide show from our experiences dancing in the mountains there is up on the gallery under "works in nature". I hope you enjoy it.

India Wrap up

We traveled to the high Himalaya last week to perform and create new site specific dances. First stop was Woodstock school, where we performed for the innauguration of the school's new gym and to celebrate its outdoor programming. The performance was warmly received by the community.

The Nanda Devi Dances Project went very well. We filmed near the great mountain after a successful performance at the Woodstock School in Mussoorie. Please see a few first photos in the gallery. We are on the Alaknanda river rafting now for three days!
